On November 16, 1964, Judy Garland stepped onto the stage of the famed London Palladium for a concert that became historic on two counts -- it marked the
first time Garland would share the stage with her daughter Liza Minnelli, and would prove to be Garland's final performance at the venue. The concert was filmed
for television, and Judy Garland: Live At The London Palladium captures the musical magic of that evening. Songs performed include "The Man That Got Away,"
"Hello Dolly," "It's Just A Matter Of Time," "Over The Rainbow," and more.

The Emmy-nominated Judy Garland Show ended its critically-acclaimed CBS-TV run after just one season (1963-64). Today, those 26 variety shows are revered
by many as the entertainment icon's finest work. All Singing then-new material as well as the classics expected of her, this is the legendary Judy at her peak.
Also featured in volume one of this 13-volume collector's set is daughter Liza Minelli, now a legend in her own right. Then just 17, Liza sings her off-Broadway hit
"You Are for Loving" and displays her renowned ability as a dancer on "Put on a Happy Face." Liza and Judy shine in the duets "Together," "We Could Make Such
Beautiful Music Together," "The Best is Yet to Come," "Bye, Bye, Baby" and "Bob White"; and revive the "We're a Couple of Swells" tramp characters from Easter
Parade. Also featured in a dazzling display of song, dance and comedy are jazz greats Count Basie and his band and Mel Tormr, who perform solo and join the
great Garland on such stunners as "I Hear Music," "The Sweetest Sounds," "Strike Up the Band," "April in Paris" and "Memories of You" folk singer Judy Henske;
and series regular Jerry Van Dyke who trades quips with Soupy Sales. Judy also sings "A Cottage for Sale," "Hey, Look Me Over," "Liza," "As Long as He Needs
Me," and "Come Rain or Come Shine," a highlight of Judy?s 45-year career. Restored and digitally remastered from the original masters, this dynamic diva will
move you like no one else! Look for all 13 volumes, each featuring two hour-long shows.

In this whimsical bit o' blarney from George M. Cohan's 1922 hit, Judy Garland plays dual roles: plucky Irish immigrant Nellie (Judy's first grownup part) and her
daughter, Little Nellie. Both Nellies contend with the same cantankerous coot, the laze-about father (Charles Winninger) who fusses mightily when Nellie
marries an upstanding lad (George Murphy) and repeats the process years later when Little Nellie falls in love. Radiant and winning, Garland sings "It's a Great
Day for the Irish," "Singin' in the Rain" and more classic tunes. But the film's finest moment may be the heartrending hospital scene in which Garland's touching,
emotionally subtle performance gives promise of the superb dramatic actress she would become.

The horse-racing tale Thoroughbreds Don't Cry marks the first of eight screen pairings (plus two variety-act films) of Hollywood legends Mickey Rooney and Judy
Garland. Rooney plays a swell-headed top jockey pressured by his disreputable pop to throw a race so that the ol' man can cash in at the window. Garland is a
singing cutie who knows her way around the paddock because she lives at a boarding house for jockeys run by her aunt (a delightful Sophie Tucker). Ronald
Sinclair plays the aristocratic English lad who owns a prized racehorse and wants Rooney to take the reins in the big race. Young dreams saddle up and ride
with this sweet saga from a more innocent time.
